Are all guidance titles aligned with the Global Internal Audit Standards?

The IIA is hard at work to update, refresh, or rewrite every relevant guidance title to align with the Global Internal Audit Standards. As guides are updated, each will be marked with a new edition number and release date in the page header. Additionally, each guide’s description will indicate whether the guide is in alignment with the new Standards.

Updating and rewriting guidance is a lengthy process because of the rigor and care with which each title is treated. Numerous subject matters and global experts weigh in to ensure the update is relevant, globally applicable, and in alignment with the Standards. 

As The IIA updates guidance in accordance with the new Global Internal Audit Standards, existing titles will remain in effect until January 2025 and beyond as necessary.
