How does the IIA address public policy issues around the world?

Modified on Thu, Sep 26 at 1:19 PM

The IIA addresses public policy issues around the world by providing support, guidance, and materials to IIA national institutes, international chapters, and regional bodies (e.g., ACIIA https://aciia.iia-indonesia.org/, AFIIA https://africaiia.org/,  ArabCIIA https://arabciia.org/en/, ECIIA https://www.eciia.eu/, and FLAI https://laflai.org/). Institute, international chapter, and regional body leaders will typically confer with The IIA Global Advocacy team on a public policy matter they are working on in their jurisdiction. We collaborate with them to provide insights, perspectives, and a strategy on how to engage in advocacy initiatives related to issues that impact the internal audit profession.
